Cookie policy
The complete list of cookies this website uses. It's a short one — there's no tracking here.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. This site sets one, and only when you use the enquiry form on the counter page. We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media cookies, and nothing here follows you to other websites. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel and no Hotjar on this site.
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Set by | Expires | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LOOTLAD | Keeps a server session so the enquiry form's anti-forgery (CSRF) token stays valid while you fill it in. | lootlad.uk (first party) | When you close the browser | Strictly necessary |
| ll-cookie-ack | Records that you dismissed the cookie notice so it does not show again. Stored locally in your browser and never sent to us. | lootlad.uk (first party) | Until you clear site data | Preference (local storage) |
Your choices
The session cookie is strictly necessary for the enquiry form to work, so under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 it does not require consent. You can still clear or block cookies through your browser's settings at any time; if you do, the form simply starts a fresh session on your next visit.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie — for example to support an embedded map or video — we would list it in the table above and ask for consent where the law requires it.
