The bench round the back

The same bench every machine on the floor goes across. Bring your own kit down or post it in — we'll tell you what's wrong and what it'll cost before a soldering iron gets near it.

What comes across the bench

Most jobs are the same handful of faults wearing different badges. Here's the bread and butter, with rough prices — every quote is firmed up once it's open and we've seen inside.

Trade-ins

Clearing a shelf or upgrading? Bring the old console to 11 Marine Drive or post it for a quote. We weigh it against what we'd sell it for, then pay cash or take it off whatever you're buying. Working or not — dead boards still have parts in them, so it's worth asking.

Grading a box of bits

Lofts and house clearances turn up some odd lots. We'll go through a box with you, sort the carts worth keeping from the spares, and give you a straight read on the lot. No charge if you sell the good stuff to us; a small fee if you just want the list.

Booking it in

There's no online basket for repairs — it's all judged by eye. Ring the counter on +44 1843 226 470 or drop a line through the counter page and Reggie will sort a slot. Turnaround is usually a week, quicker if the part's in the drawer.
