What's on the floor
Six corners of the shop, from the big console shelf to the glass cabinet by the till. Everything that says "tested" has been switched on at the bench first — and what hasn't is labelled as spares, plainly.
1977 – early 2000s
Home consoles
From wood-grain Atari to the curvy plastic of the PlayStation 2 — the back wall is two decades of living-room machines, every one switched on and run before it earns its price tag. Where a console needs a recap or a new laser to behave, it gets the work on the bench first.
- 8, 16, 32 and 64-bit, PAL and switchable
- Recaps, RGB mods and region work done in-house
- Sold with a tested pad, the right PSU and a lead
Game Boy to PSP
Handhelds
A drawer of things you can play on the train to Ramsgate. Game Boys, Game Gears, Lynxes and the early Nintendo DS — most have had a fresh screen and a new shell, because a thirty-year-old handheld earns its keep by still looking the part.
- IPS screen refits and battery swaps
- Original and aftermarket shells in stock
- Chargers and link cables sorted to match
JAMMA & before
Arcade boards & cabinet spares
The half of the shop that smells of flux. JAMMA boards, Sanwa sticks, button clusters, harnesses and power supplies pulled from cabs that didn't make it. Wiring your own build or keeping a seafront cab alive — there's a box back here with your part in it.
- Working JAMMA PCBs and supergun-ready boards
- Sticks, buttons, harnesses and PSUs
- Bench help if your build won't boot
every platform
Cartridges, discs & manuals
Crates of carts and a wall of jewel cases, loose and boxed, cleaned and save-cleared so you start fresh. Common platformers for a few quid, the odd grail behind the counter — and we'll always tell you straight which is which.
- Cleaned contacts, working saves wiped
- Loose from a few quid, boxed-and-complete priced fair
- Manuals and inlays sorted back where we can
the bits you lost
Pads, leads & memory
The bin of things that go missing in a house move. Controllers tested for drift, SCART RGB leads cut for the console you actually own, memory cards formatted and ready. Bring the machine in and we'll match it up at the counter.
- Drift-tested pads, official and third-party
- RGB SCART, component and HDMI-mod leads
- Memory cards and rumble paks, formatted
boxed & boxed-fresh
Collectibles & seafront oddments
The glass cabinet by the till. Boxed figures, enamel pins, posters and the strange promotional bits that washed up with the cabinets when Dreamland cleared out. Some of it is rare, most of it is just good fun on a shelf.
- Boxed figures and model kits
- Pins, posters, prints and promo oddities
- Margate seafront pieces you won't find twice
